The following rules changes or interpretations are taken from the Information Pack:
Power Dice Limit: You can use a maximum of 12 power dice in each magic phase, regardless of the source.
Casting Dice Limit: The maximum amount of power dice that may be used to attempt to cast a spell is 6, regardless of the source or army special rule.
All fleeing and pursuing (including breaking from combat) will be done center-to-center. Please double-check your understanding of the rules detailed on pages 57 and 60 of the BRB.
All wounds generated by attacks of the same initiative step will be resolved simultaneously; i.e. if a unit of trolls is fighting two units of High Elf spear elves – and one unit of spear elves has the Banner of Eternal flame, the trolls are allowed Regeneration saves against wounds caused by the unit without flaming attacks but are not allowed Regeneration saves against wounds caused by the units with the Banner of Eternal Flame.
All spells without a given type, generally found in older army books, are bound by the casting restrictions outlined by the four bullet points on page 31 of the BRB unless their spell descriptions specifically state anything to the contrary.
edit: New Rules Questions are listed below:
1. If you have a spellcaster in the fixed portion of your list, you do indeed have to assign him a magic lore for the whole season.
2. Unless opponents agree otherwise, all games are open list. Your opponents should already know the fixed portion of your list from this site, but you should still bring a complete list to every game and exchange with your opponent.
